    Exhaust pipe sizing

    How large do you need to go in order to let the engine breath freely?

    I am building dual pipes.

    Engine is 2001 LS1.

    3" should be fine.

    I agree. The 3" will work out better as you add more mods to your engine. Especially if you have plans for LTH's.
