Exhaust Cut-out?
I just recently put a cut-out, is it ok to leave it off at all times. I do like the way it sounds. Or is it bad? I dont see how, but could it hurt the engine? Car is all stock, just have a lid on it.

I have mine open 99% of the time for about 4 years. The car was actually sold off a dealer lot with an open cut out. The only time I close it is when I go on long trips on the highway. 6th gear at 80mph there is a nasty drone.

I'm about to have a cut-out installed on mine (cam and bolt-ons) and the only time I'll have it closed is coming/going in my neighborhood at night/morning, and on long trips.

the install also has to be more beefed up with heat tape, but thats the only thing i heard about that the wires buring up,
and the motor is weak, from what i heard
