exhaust check engine
will the check engine light come on with just catback exhaust

No, should not even be an issue, If you dont touch the O2 sensors the engine will never even know.
But your ears and neighbors will know the catback is there

If something did happen, get the codes scanned from your local autoparts store and let us know. Have them clear the codes and see if they reoccur.
