    exhaust

ive got a slp 2000 ss camaro with stock exhaust... i use to have a 94 z28 with my cats gutted and had slp loudmouth exhaust on it.. loved the loud sound....was recently told that my cats on this model are sealed and are farther up closer to the motor instead of more under the car towards the ground and that the only way to gut them would be to remove them and then weld them back on...? how difficult would this be to do...annnddd will any error codes appear?!

Why not completely remove them and put on some LT headers? If you gut them or remove them without getting your computer tuned, then it will throw a code. It's not worth it to cut them off to gut them out, either keep them on, or get headers and take them off. Or if you have to pass smog, then get high flow cats.

Save your cash until you can do it right. You will need a tune to delete your secondary O2 sensors that are after the cats. I didn't do a tune right after I put LT's and a cut out on my car. She didn't like it. The car ran rich as shit and my gas mileage was shit. Well shittier than usual.
