    Exhaust

I have been waiting for 2 years to buy an exhaust and finally ill be getting one as well as a tune up. Im very intrested in the bassani true dual exhaust system for the 00-02. Ive heard mixed reviews on it some have problems with the fitment issue some people say fit like a glove. The system starts after the cat convertors. I was planning on also getting headers within the year and wanted to no if for the people who do own the system if they had to make any mods to the system to get the headers to fit. There is also the option of a y pipe and a catback but needs to be under 1k the problem with that though is i see it sensless to own a true dual exhaust car that merges into a single pipe then back into dual piping i dont no the thought bothers me. Anyway what do you guys think? any input would be very helpfull thanks.

Thanks Y2Kpewterss for the help just putting the topic here for more eyes to c.

Are you considering any system other than Bassani?

I went first with the Magnaflow catback and then added Kooks LT's and a catted Y just recently. This thread has the catback install and includes pics and vid: http://www.ls1.com/forums/showthread.php?t=121606

When I originally installed it last year, I was still running the stock manifolds and Y. Last month I upgraded to LT's and the catted Y. Check out KY Speed (site sponsor) or send a PM to "marksls1ta" -- I don't think you will find a better deal. I have purchased almost everything for our car through them.
