    Exhaust

what noticeable differences does an aftermarket exhaust do, im lookin at gettin just a 40 series flowmaster with the dual outlet all together its goin to be like 220 bucks so its not a bad deal too me

Sounds better, allows for better flow. It's a gain, regardless.

Well, anytihng sounds better than nothing (3.8 Exhaust is almost silent). Just be aware, the 3.8 sounds like a lawnmower (raspy) with aftermarket exhausts. That is the main reason, I have not put an exhaust on my 2000 GTP. I'm not saying "don't go for it", just be aware.

I agree, don't bother with the flowmaster when a perfectly good magnaflow would be a better choice.

    Also +1 from me.

    3+1=4

And Flowmasters rust like an SOB...

I had a Flowmasters, then when I had my LTs and ORY it blew the baffles off the old ass muffler. When that happens it sounds like total ASS. I put on a Magnaflow and it has a nice rumble sound that I have been looking for. Not sure how it will sound on the 3.8, but on a LS1 it is nice!!!

Also I've been told you get better HP gains with Magnaflow vs Flowmasters. I'm not sure if true but you have so far 4 ppl that tell you they have and like Magnaflow...
