    with egr provisions

Hey everyone I read on here somewhere that there is actually a way to install the egr tube back into my ls6 intake with some kind of an egr provision. I read somewhere that lingenfelter sells one, or did but I can't find any information on it. Anyone with some suggestions would be greatly appreciated.....~Chris

you could clean out your intake and then disconnect the vaccuum line to the EGR valve. Itll throw a code for a while, but Ive heard that itll go away

I'm going to drill a hole into the top of the intake where the ls1 was located, then going to seal it. It should work out.

It should technically work, but for a few bucks more you could sell the ls6 intake before molesting it and get one with EGR for about the same price.

LOL I need it done by friday that is my deadline for my smog. I also called slp because they modify the ls6 intake for egr and all they basically use is a pressure fitting and some epoxy to get it to seal so I should be good. I am doing it tonight after work so I will let you know how things end up.....

I don't know about that, last time I looked on SLPs site, the LS6 with EGR provision was selling for $475 range. No chance in hell anyone is gonna pay much more than $300-350 range for a used LS6 intake.

Lingenfelter sold it for $50, but I can't find it on their site. It is possible that it is a discontinued item.

Ok guys here is what i decided to do let me know what you think. I reinstalled all of the egr hardware, except I didnt plumb into the intake. I just let the tube set on top of where the egr origianally went so it looks like it plummed, everything looks STOCK AND FACTORY. What are the chances of me not passing now. Since I don't know if they do a egr functional test (unless someone can correct me) i think it should work out........thoughts please.......................
