    EGR aluminum block plate

This is something i thought up for those who blocked off their ls1 intake when removing the EGR system. I used a freeze plug and didn't quite like the way it looked so i made this. Wondering if anyone else has done this or is selling any of these.

That's pretty neat way to clean that spot up. Maybe put some kind of LSx design on it and sell them yourself? I get a hint you maybe planning this? I bet you could make a couple of $$$ on those..

If you're serious though I would'nt let someone else stop you from haveing you own line of them. Come up with your own design for the top, I bet people would buy them. Custom one off stuff is very desirable..

I've seen one with a smaller plate than yours, and it has another hole slightly to the side that allows for the original bolt to bolt to the intake. It is round like the one that comes with a freeze plug, with a little extension "lip" that extends over the threaded bolt hole on the intake.

Yes, yours is nice, and has a clean look (although it would be nice to see something other than a large nut in the middle--but don't get me wrong, I think you did a good job on this "prototype"). Have you sold any? If so, for what price? It does look better than my freeze plug. I would buy one of yours if I wasn't planning on replacing my intake with a Maggie system--although that will likely be a winter project.

Definitely like the head plate and the EGR blockoff
How does the plate mount on the intake?
May be interested in some of that

How did you paint your intake btw?
    spray can?

I JB-Welded a small bolt I had sitting around to the underside of the plate, filled the EGR hole (not cut out of my FAST 90) with RTV Silicone, place and let harden.

Medium Sand Paper -> Adhesion Promotor -> Gloss Black Engine Enamel -> Clear Engine Enamel -> Wet Sand
