    eBay throttle body vendors... ?

    Does anyone on here have good or bad experience with the guys who offer to port stock TBs (on eBay) for about $60-$100...


    ?


    I'm interested but if I can find a stock TB locally at a 'yard I was just going to enjoy porting and bump-stop-mod'ing one myself...

    ... one vendor offered a thinned blade which I'm not too sure I like (rounded edges, no problem if precision machined so's not to change the fit of the blade to the ID of the TB)...


    Any and all inputs welcome, good or bad, especially names of vendors to stay away from, etc.

    dont know about any ebay guys, but I would recommend mark shaner.....he did my TB and it is awesome.

    I got a ported stocker from Thunder Racing. Wasn't polished but they did a nice job on the porting.

    Shaner did mine also and I love it!!
    But it took a while to get mine...like 3 weeks. Well worth the wait but be prepared to wait.
