Dynatech or QTP
i posted this in the external engine thread but no responses maybe i can get one here.
which is the better long tube header system performance, clearance, and ease of installation wise dynatech or qtp? whichever one i get i will be running cats on it. any opinions greatly appreciated. thanx!

I have the dynatech LT's and I dont have any problems. I bumped them once on a speedbump but other then that, no problems. Great system and from what I understand the fit really well.

thanx thats the 2nd time i heard somethin bout dynatech and i heard nothing about qtp. i may be goin with dynatech!

i have the dynatech headers on my car. you have to buy the collectors separately. went in easy. here's my webpage on installing them

I have the dynatech supermaxx system. Its a compleat install kit with NOTHING more to buy. Top notch headers from every aspect IMO. If your going with just the headers I still say get the dynatechs

I don't have either of those brands but I'd go with dynatech becasue I have heard that QTP's don't fit as well as other leading competetors.

Dynatech Supermaxx here. I can't imagine any better fit, the installation was easy. They've been on the car for a couple year with no issues.

dynatech long tubes r in, just need to kno if the hardware like the gaskets and bolts r of ood quality or should i get better hardware??

Actualy I had mine installed . I like ( senical ) had the supermax system put on. All of the clamps they put on are very nice. I would imagine the hardware would be the same. If it is you should be good to go. What does the hardware look like.

QTP and no problems!!!!!!
They have an unbeleivable amount of clearance!!! They are tucked up under the car as close as you can get! #1 QUALITY!!

i'm in the same boat. Iv'e decided to go with dynatech. Even tho american racing headers are the best out there. Money is tight. System plus dyno tune $1500
