Duals to loud
I know i'll get flack but here goes, My z28 has duals on it and it sounds good punching it but on my commuting drives the thing puts out this drone that's really hard on the ears, I want to keep them, just want to know if someone has had any luck with resonators etc.
Mufflers on it now are 18" magnaflow bullets 3", 2.5" under axle
When I get this done the new exhaust wil go over the axle, as it sits now setup doesn't look very clean.
Here is the setup now
here it is before exhaust went under axle if you turn up the volume, you can feel/hear that drone in the beginning of the rpm bands that I am talking about.

always dirty- 2013 Ram 2014 Caddy ATS
A different muffler might help. Where are yours located now?

just before the axle you can see one where the 2.5" piping goes under the axle

No cats and yah they would help tone it down. Here in Cali it is illegal to move the stock position of the cats, so I figured why bother paying the extra

It sounds awesome especially at WOT, i know what you mean about drone although none of my cars have had TD's so my drone was probably not as bad as yours it gets annoying after a while. Funny thing is ive used magnaflow on 5 of my past cars and it does produce drone, could be you would have to go a different route and ditch the magnaflows. Either way GL

Ok, mines just about the same set up
Try buying some sound deadening material and putting it in the trunk, thats what im probably going to end up doing. If you do it right it should cut down on cabin noise.
