Does X-pipe with cats setup exist for LS1's?
Hey guys,
I'm currently looking to change my x-pipe with NO cats setup to an x-pipe WITH cats for emissions purposes. A quick internet search provided me with no such options. Does such a setup for LS1's even exist as it does for Mustang's? If it does, please provide information on it so I can look into it.
Thanks,
Sam

I have cats on mine but my setup is custom. On the driver side expect to lose some clearance. You looking to clamp it on or weld it on?

Never thought of that. The main thing is to have a 'street legal' car going forward. As my current setup goes, there is no room to add cats to it. I'm guessing I'm going to have to completely re-do this setup.

You didn't answer my question. Is the exhaust welded on, clamped on, or bolted on? Either way you can atleast weld the cats onto the longtubes and cut the extra pipe taht will attach to the back of the cats.

Sorry about that. I wasn't sure what you meant. I believe it is bolted on, definitely not welded together. From your response, it seems as though I will need to find an exhaust shop that does custom exhaust work.
