Does 330rwhp Sound Feasible?
This Saturday I will be taking my 2002 WS6 M6 to have some parts put on, here is a list of what is going to be done. Keep in mind I only have a Borla catback exhaust system and the dyno will be on a Dynojet:
1) SLP Lid
2) Pacesetter LT Ceramic Coated Headers
3) TSP 3" Catted Y-Pipe W/ Magnaflow High Flow Cats
4) QTP 3" Electric Cutout
5) A custom dyno tune with wideband O2 to alter A/F ratioLast edited by fbird777; 05-29-2008 at 09:54 AM.

345rwhp would be awesome, I got the electronic cutout mainly for the sound but I'm pretty sure it will net a couple of hp. Some people at work are doubting I will even hit 330 rwhp, I told them I already have around 325 bhp(assuming) as of right now. Like I said, I havn't even had a baseline ran yet so I am clueless on my rwhp.

Your coworkers must drive mustangs :-)... j/k. Post up a clip of your cutout if you can. I am thinking of getting one and would love to hear it with the hiflow cats. Best of luck

Any dyno will give different numbers from day to day.
Expect 330-350RWHP with that combo.

With similar mods my car hit 329whp on a Mustang dyno which gives a lot less than a dynojet. You'll be fine

When mine had the same mods (different exhaust components) before the tune I was at 330ish after I was at 357. I think you should have no problem hitting 330.

2000 Camaro SS- 1969 Z28 JL8 crossram, #'
Depends on the dyno and weather conditions. I had my 2000 SS dyno'd 2 weeks ago on a Dynojet and made 320 rwhp with stainless longtubes, 3" high flow cats, Random Tech cat-back, lid, ported TB and tuned but I have an A4. A 99 Vette with M6 and some exhaust mods put down 309 rwhp and a new Pontiac G8 put down 297 rwhp bone stock. So you can really only relate the dyno numbers to what other cars were done at the same time to know if it's reading high or low. You should have no problem with 330 rwhp with the M6.

I got 343rwhp with the lid, headers, catted y, and cutout. I will post the dyno sheets soon, after I get a custom dyno tune I should be looking at least 360rwhp.

The reason I am going to RPM at Garner, NC is because a buddy of mine took his stock 1999 Hugger Orange SS to RPM and got it dyno tuned. He started out with 298rwhp and after the custom dyno tune he had 321rwhp. The guy that put my headers, y-pipe, etc. said it is not uncommon to see a 15-25rwhp gain with a custom dyno tune.
