Do I need anything else for a headers install?

    Hey guys,

I'm about to order some Pacesetter Ceramic Coated Long Tube Headers (No EGR) & Pacesetter ORY-Pipe. And I have some questions:

If I am getting rid of the EGR & Air pump, what other "parts" will I need to order?

I am also planning on ordering:

GM MLS Gaskets (are these good or need something better?)
Plug-n-play O2 extensions (Are these need if I am deleting the rear O2's?)

When installed I plan on getting a tune from Frost if I have enough $$$ left over.

I plan on using this thread from the sticky's above as a guide because this is my first header install on a 98' Trans Am:

    Bump, also need to ask:

Can I reuse my O2 sensors or do I have to get new ones?

You need bock of plate for the egr (I see them on ebay all the time) I would use the o2's you have in there untill after the tune and then replace the front's. I don't know about the gaskets.

By the way you will want the tune very soon after because the car will run rich at idel and lean under load.

The O2 extensions are needed for the front o2s unless you are replacing them with a long-leaded O2 such as the Bosch 13111's. Definitely use the metal gaskets between the headers and heads.

Let me know when you get ready to get that PCM out, or just if you have any questions.

    Thanks.
