Cutout Questions?

I have a v6 camaro, and want to get a cut out...however i love low end torque, and dont wanna lose it...and i was wondering if a cutout would lose me low end...and if so, would it be worth it in the top end?

I doubt you will even feel a loss if any.
Go for the cutout, for 30 bucks you cant go wrong and if you dont like it just cap it.

My brother has a 1996 Firebird 3.8L, he got a cutout installed and that shit made a lot of noise and was going nowhere. It sounded like a civic. The car def lost torque with the cutout open. I bet my brother that once he closed it the car would feel a lot faster than with it open. Now, the cutout does gain hp so when your cruising around at like 50 mph it will pick up quicker than with the cutout closed, however his 3.8 is auto and the drone in the cabin is unbearable since that thing shifts gears at around 3k rpm. I personally hate his cutout. But for 30 bucks it does the trick if you want to make your car loud and attract attention from people and cops. If you want to make your car loud and dont want to buy a catback then try it out if you want since it is low risk. Just my .02.
