Just to help you decision a bit... I have the Qtp ORY with dual ecutouts, it is by far my favorite mod i have done to the car, hands down.... the sound is amazing....
dont mind the camera... it auto adjusts volumes, so its louder than this but you will get the idea.... its teh QTP mated to the stock cat-back....

i have not gotten on the dyno yet to show this, but there is a night and day difference between open and closed... as best as i can explain it is this....
with them closed, if you floor it, the car will still accelerate plenty quick, but it has kinda a soffened effect on the power delivery, now open them up, and floor it, the throttle response is soo much diffence, it will in effect snap you back way better than vs closed.... it just feels all around more powerful with them opened....

Personally i love the sound, but yes i have kooks LT's also... but a cutout sounds good even on a stock exhaust.... but if he is thinkin bout a QTP ORY like that, those are only made for LT's....
why would you do that??? thats like wiping before you poop, it dont make sense....

You should go with duals, if you have the money. I bought these from dmh. Both are electric, and work amazing.

If money is not an option than dual cutouts is obviously better in the y pipe but a cheaper alternative that still sounds good and loud is a single cutout under the rear passenger in the I pipe.
