Critique my custom fabbed exhaust merge

I would like to get some thoughts on the merge of my setup. This is a custom exhaust setup that was done at W2W when they were still around. Its a 3.5" to single 4", over axle, with a 4" DMH electric cutout. Yes, its loud I love this setup and feel it will handle whatever future plans I have. I do however toss around the idea of fabbing a Flowmaster merge (4") into it. What do you guys think? What it show any improvement and make it worth the money spent?

You can see how they are merged/welded together in the center of this picture.

And a few of the rest of the system.

This is mainly just to get some ideas or opinions as I wont be doing anything to it for quite some time.

Honestly, the angles look too sharp, but besides that it looks good.

Dont you run a Mufflex system? I thought I remember you saying you run one, I really like the Mufflex.

Yes, with a custom y-pipe and a flowmaster merge (dual 3" to single 4"). I really can't pass judgement on it yet, since my car is still not done and I haven't been able to go WOT.

That looks good to me -- everything appears put together nicely. With those pipes I do believe you are ready for one of the new RHS 502 LS motors!

nice y-pipe.I feel the tighter the angle of the merging pipes the better the exhaust pulses merge keeping the velocity higher .a *45 merge is better than a *90 merge.
