    2000 trans am ws6

    corvette LS6 intake

    i have the chance to get an ls6 intake that was off a 2002 corvette that is complete with throttle body, injectors, and fuel rails for a great price.. it actually came off a crate motor and has never been used..
    my question is will this bold right on my 2000 WS6 or will i have to change out anything like the injectors?

    Yes its a direct bolt on,with one exception the EGR valve will need to be removed as there is no provision for it at the front of the intake.

    Get a new OPSU,Knock Sensors,KS Harness,LS6 Steam vent tubes,Intake gaskets,about 10 rags and some brake cleaner.

    What did you pay for it, I just want to know what a setup like that is going for. Brand new, never used. I would say 800.00 is a good guess.

    You will have to ditch the DBW throttle body and get a tune for the bigger injectors.

    I missed that part this morning.

    You could use your stock rail and injectors,then you wouldn't need a tune.

    Just make sure it is actually an LS6, I've seen a couple vette non egr ls1 intakes on craigslist that they tried to pass off as an LS6. As far as bolting on yes plug and play basically, I notched the casting ridges on mine to bolt down on top of the LS1 coolant lines without issues.
