Catted Y-pipe to fit manifolds/ shortys?

i have a 2000 trans am WS6 with factory exhaust and a SLP LM1 catback. i am purchasing a set of edelbrock emissions legal shorty headers, and i understand these bolt up to my stock y pipe. does anyone have or know where i can get a catted y pipe that bolts up to these shortys / stock manifolds and require no cutting / welding to fit? i do not want to run longtubes. any info on a catted Y would be greatly appreciated.

Check the same manufacturer that you go the headers from. If not, any factory replacement y-pipe with cats should work.

So you want an aftermarket y-pipe with cats that bolts up to your Edelbrock shortys? Is that correct?
IMO, you will not feel a difference with shorty headers.

I was looking into shorty headers also, but wasn't sure if it would really make much difference in power.

Use the stock Y pipe/cats. Don't think you'll see any gains with aftermarket.
