Cats for a Non-cat exhaust....Re-tuned CPU

So quick question, I have a custom exhaust system front only O2's no cats and the CPU has been re-programmed to run without cats, If I install cats on the car will it melt the cats. The ones I have are HF cats. Or would it just be easier to make False cats as it just for inspection purposes. Thanks

Really up to you and your pocket book. You can throw them on and have it re-tuned. or if you can get by with out a sniffer and just a visual only costs are the fake cats and install.

If you don't need cats then why run them? I don't have rear O2's either and prefer it that way as it allows me to run headers and true duals.

Its for state inspection, and no i dont want to get it retuned now. it doesnt need emission inspection as the county doesnt require it. I mainly want to know what if anything would happen if i put HF cats on it?
