Cats and no muffler vs no cats and muffler
this is a question for my 01 Silverado. I am looking for the setup that will make the truck sound meaner and louder.
The toss up is between the following:
stock manifolds and stock y-pipe with built in cats and just pipes after that that split into duel exit..... or
stock manifolds, gutted cats and flowmaster super 40 single in duel out muffler....
the cats with the super 40 is just too quiet for me.... I am only concerned with sound being loud and mean its a truck not a racecar.... which setup and why?
