cats
hi everyone,,, i have have a question...
ill be looking to buy some LTS for my ss.. so i need new cats. im getting ebay cats highflows for like 60 each..
i dont care if they are good or bad. i just want so the car is not to loud or has the gas smell all the time..
my questions is.. i was thinking on using only one cat on the I pipe..is that a good or bad idea?
i could buy both but im just curios..
could that affect on the performance?
thanks for the help..

well.....you'll be at the same degree of illegal whichever way you go. If noise and smell are a priority you will get better results using 2. Probably still get a little smell but it won't be bad at all. What catback are you running?

from my past experience I know what I would do.....skip the catback altogether and put on an e-cutout. Cats through your flowmaster will be almost stock sounding quiet....probably too quiet for you....but you can open the cutout with the push of a button and have a nice loud car on demand. One of the most fun mods I've did to my car was the e-cutout. I ran my cutout open 24/7 before the headers, no cats, and cam. I would put 2 cats on it off the headers and save that I-pipe to put the cutout in.

sorry forgot to mention..i have a cur out already. most of the time is open..
love the way it sounds..
for the headers ill be getting a custom y pipe at my friends shop.. so i think ill just get 2 cats then. i plan on doin heads and cam after the intake and LTs im just triying not get it very loud. im ok with the noise, the problem is the cops
on the magnaflow is better option than flowmaster right?
