    Cat-back question

    i have a hooker catback and i want to take it off, everything all the way to the stock y pipe. will that be fine? or will the y pipe bang around?

    I think it is hard to undertand your question. Do you just want to remove the catback and run the car without it?

    yea, ive heard from ppl it's fine. and my friend said the y pipe might bang around,

    keep that cat back on there and put a cutout with a opener in the I-pipe before the axle thats what I did and now I can change the sound with the flip of a switch

    When I installed My ORY I forgot to tighten the passenger side bolts and when I started the car my wife said that inside the house sounded like a helicopter was landing. It was abnoxiously loud! Do the cutout that way you can avoid cops riding on your a@#!

    i have a cutout now... love the sound, ive also had the cat-back off before and it wasnt any louder then my cutout. i need to take the cat-back off b.c i want to polish it and my ss is my daily driver.
