can a clogged cat do this?...
im havein a rougher idle then normal and my exhaust is increasing in sound quite a bit....?

but not for the exhaust to get louder? and does a clogged or gutted cat cause it to have a rough idle?

A clogged cat will actually do just the opposite. Your exhaust is going to become quieter also your idle is going to be rougher. Among other things, you're gunna be experiencing a severe loss of power.

Clogged cat can also cause the engine to start running warmer. With it getting louder, have you checked for exhaust leaks? I've seen cats get clogged up enough to burst open.
