    Pros= cheaper price
    cons= maybe missing hardware, rusted finish
    It all depends on the condition that you buy them in

    save a ton of cash,

    only con is you wont get the gaskets and bolts. may be rusted but hey so will your new ones in 2 months. You can not wear a header out, but you can destroy it. I have heard of ones that are really old and have been heat wrapped getting brittle, but never seen it.

    I agree. The huge pro to purchasing used headers is you can get some pretty decent prices compared to buying them brand new. Depending on the material the headers are made of, a con could be some rust developing on them. However, you could buy some high quality stainless steel headers that are used & shouldn't have that problem (though I've heard the SLP longtubes can rust, but they're made of a lower quality stainless steel). Likewise, another con could be they are missing hardware, as mentioned above, but oftentimes people will buy some of the hardware separately when purchasing new headers instead of using the included hardware. An example of this is people buying GM metal gaskets instead of the supplied gaskets. Also, used headers may have scrapes in them from clearance issues & bottoming out. However, this won't affect the peformance of the headers themselves. If you do decide to purchase used headers, make sure you ask for plenty of pics of them at different angles so you won't be surprised by anything when you receive them. ...if anyone has anything to add to this post, feel free to!
