    Borla vs magnaflow

so I was checking out the summit site and the complete Magnaflow system is less then $500 yet the Borla is $900... Nearly double.

I know it's kinda a dumb question but is the gains justify the extra cost of the Borla or is it mearly a name brand thing.

I've ran both systems and IMO the Magnaflow system sounds and flows better than Borla.

If you go with the dual tips on the Magnaflow system the price jumps up to around $700.00. It does look and sound sweet though.

WHen you take the block off plate out, you've got more noise coming out the passenger side exhaust tips... depends how fussy a person is i guess.

There are no significant "gains" from one versus the other, just different tones. You are paying for the difference in name/quality/sound/etc. You are not going to gain 10 more HP with one versus the other.

The borla on my vette is probably a lot different but I love the sound. Has kind of an exotic sports car sound.

+1 for magnaflow, sounds great and looks great... Motorized cutout is much better than the borla in my opinion.
