bolt on priorities
OK, if you get LT headers, catback, and a lid, what is next after that?
Let's assume you have upgraded suspension, subframes, etc. What is the next step in HP? Cam, FI, intake stuff, etc?

Pewter metallic- 2000 Camaro SS
I don't know if you are an auto or manual tranny, but if auto, you would want a stall convertor next. I would upgrade the rearend before more HP, but the next HP step would be cam/tune/pulley.

You have a few directions you can go from here:
Auto tranny: stall
Manual tranny: gears, cam, pulley, heads. The next step would almost certainly need to be a rear end!!
I guess it all depends on what you're trying to accomplish and your budget. I'd take those two into consideration and then go from there.
Check out my mods below: I want a car with good street manners, a ton of low end torque and roughly 440 - 450 rwhp. My next mod is going to be ported heads followed by a 9" rear end with 4.11 gears. The final (presumably) mod is going to be a 100 - 125 hp shot.2002 Camaro SS M6, 2.5 PRC 5.3L heads, TFS 228/230 cam, FAST 92, bolt ons + a 10 lb bottle in the back.
1989 Corvette L98, A4, Full bolt ons, etc.

^ why couldn't you get the cam, pulley, and heads with an auto? I thought it could handle that.
Personally I would build the engine. Save forced induction until the engine is built stronger or reliability might be an issue.Last edited by Speed Psychosis; 02-27-2008 at 05:31 PM.

I have an M6 car, bout to get the headers, but like to think about what is next. Sounds like a rear end and shorter rear gear - I read that a lot on here. Then Cam.
I want to acheive about 400 RWHP with good street manners and able to pass emissions since I am in NC.
Midnight, what power does your car make with your current mods?

I'd be saving for a 12 bolt or 9"......

I'd say save for a rear, cause it would be pointless to get all of that hp and not be able to take advantage of it at the track. As you would probably snap your stocker when you try to launch. (speaking from experience)
