blown, what exhaust ?

I have a 98 camaro ss with a vortech v-9 aftercooled kit , long tubes & ory. ,and 4.10's . Before all of this I stupidly went with a 80 series flowmaster cat-back. I think it is choking and it sounds alright at idle but lame at wot. I already have the money in the ory. and was wondering if a loud mouth would flow enough or should i go with dumps or true duals ? 4" single ? let me know

Yes loudmouth will flow well, but its a loud ass mofo!

I have heard alot about magnaflow I just dont know what it sounds like in person , I have heard it on ls1 sounds maybe ill check it out again and maybe loud mouth 2

Magnaflow is very quiet at idle...

I've got the same flowmaster cat back. I hate it also. I run most of the time with the cutout open anyways so I can hear the turbos better.

Do you have headers?....I may have over looked that....if not, GET SOME....

Also, I really like my Hooker, its tame at Idle, sounds good, and makes some decent noise at WOT

...

Also, check into Mufflex (Spintech) if you want GOOD flow and what is (in my opinion) the best sounding exhaust on an LS1

+1 .. me to,, mellow at low rpm, nice and mean at high rpm. the sound is nice not raspy at all.

I gained 24rwhp going from a 3" Flowmaster to a SLP 3" loudmouth on my Cammed 94 Formula.

Magnaflow is too quiet at idle for a modded car. "My o2"

Magnaflow or SLP for max HP.
