best hp for the $
I have a 2000 LS1 Z28 I have an airbox lid and flowmaster catback exhaust, and a stock 273 rear end. I am looking to start building my car I want to know which bolt on are the best MAF sensor, intake throttle body, power programmer and any other suggestions on how to get to the mid 12's any good suggestions and how are these parts listed and do they work and are they recommended.

Red- 2001 Camaro SS
Take the money for the MAF, throttle body, and power programmer, and put it into gears. It'll wake up the car like nothing else. You will be able to feel the difference, which makes it better than those three you mentioned. Also, check out HPTuners before you ever think about buying a handheld programmer.
My 2 cents for free.

If auto get a stall probably around 3500 stall, if 6speed Pacesetter LTs and ORY. Dont worry about the MAF sensor or buying a throttle body just port your own or send it off to a sponser. New Era does them for $80.

Swap out the flowmaster for something that flows better and swap the gears. 2.73's are a joke you need at least 3.73's.

Navy Blue Metallic- '99 T/A WS6 M6
Flowmaster is about 3-4 hp loss rather than using other name brands...check some charts... [ Getting tired of hearing all these stories..have you ever torn apart a Flowmaster ?? there are only a few deflectors..there is no big blockage]....BTW... I would get tq converter and/or gears...that is what most/all the auto guys seem to think....I have M6..

First, do you own the HP you have or are you making payments?
