    AutoZone straight through muffler question.

Is anyone using any of these straight through mufflers from AutoZone in a true duel setup.

If so, How did you like the sound?

The sound is the main thing I'm curious about. The louder/deeper the sound, the better.

    Thanks.

They are going to sound like a glasspack.

    Loud? Yes
Deep tone? uhh, yeah, not real deep
    Backfire and rap? Yup

I would go with a straight thru muffler but with no fiberglass packing since it burns out.

summit brand bullets are only $18 each.
I'm running them right off my LT's as resonators into a set of flowmaster super 44's. everything is 3" duals front to back and sounds great, quiet while cruising but loud as hell when you get on it

Cool, thanks for the response. Have any idea how they would sound if I just ran those off the manifolds then dumped as opposed to using those as well as regular mufflers like your setup?

    Thanks.

loud as hell inside and outside the car. I thought bullet and dumps sound good, but its nice to be able hear the person in the passenger seat
