Anyone have specific experience with these headers

    BBK Shorties

I'm looking for specific thoughts or opinions on those particular headers, if anyone has any. I know I know..."Shorties!? EWWW!"

But, I'm stuck with them, living in Cali. Those, according to BBK, will be receiving CARB certification this year, so they would be legal. And the price is good...I just can't see paying 900 bucks for JBA shorties or something .

If you do have experience with these, and you absolutely hated them, then toss out an alternative, that would be legal to run in California. Thanks all!

Errr, hold the train! Theres some CARB certified mid tubes? Anything is better than shorties if I can find it CARB certified. I was under the impression only shorties were, but I'd be a happy camper to find out that I'm wrong!

Its just so darn hard to find out what is or isn't CARB certified, and their own site, that lists whats certified, has so MUCH information, its almost impossible to sift through it all and find what you need.

Do you (or anyone) have a link, or anymore info on the MAC ones (or any other non-shorties that you know to be CARB certified)?

Mac mids definaetely DO NOT have a carb stamping and not emissions legal. As for the shorties, I'd skip em and go forced induction maybe.
