    anybody try MAC headers+ Y?? are they long tubs?

    just seeing if thses would be easyier for install and what other people think of these? AND ARE THSES CONSIDERED LONG TUBE HEADERS casue they dont look like some of the others

    would these be as loud as all the other kits if not long tubed?

    They are mid tubes. I knew a lot of guys that ran them years ago, before long tubes were affordable. They make good gains but now that you can get pacesetters and Hookers pretty cheap I see no reason to go with mids.

    They can be a pain to get in like long tubes. Advantage is there almost never a k member clearance issue. Long tube vs Mac mid:

    I ran MACs back in the day. Super-easy install (both dropped in from the top...just remove the pass-side valve-cover), great-fit and great clearance. Do NOT use the MAC cats...they suck. With the factory cats welded in the MAC Y-pipe, I gained about 18-20rwhp. You can find great prices on them in the classified section...

    Yep. Did the MAC install on rhino-ramps in a single-car garage. The only time I was under the car was to remove/install the Y-pipe...

    It would probably a little harder from the bottom, but why would you want to do that anyway? Even with access to a lift, it is always easier to work from the top...gravity.
