Anybody removed oil filler tube?

Removing this will give easier acess while installing headers.Does it just pull out?Tried to pull lightly but didn't want to break it.

how does the oil filler tube help

maybe your talking about the dipstick tube, in that case there is a 15mm bolt that holds a tab down on the head. it just twists out at a slight angle. i had to remove mine on my header install. and just in case you really want to take out your filler tube, it just twists counter clockwise about 1/2 turn

I am like you and cannot get mine to come out. I bought a pullout LS1 and the tube was pulled partially out when they wrapped the motor up with plastic wrap on the crate. I wound up wrestling mine back in place.
