Another NGK TR-55 Spark Plug Gap Question
I have NGK TR-55 V-Power Spark plugs for my 02 WS6 and I'm going to put them in with Full exhaust and a lid. Well I looked at many threads but I have just got mixed gaps. I have read that some people say the best is .55. Some people say .5 is the best. Some people also say .45 is to low but some still like it. Well how would either one make a difference? Which one would be better for me?

.55 is way to much....thats more then 1/2 inch
For your lid and exhaust mods, anywhere from .045 to .055 is fine. You won't really notice any difference. I set mine to .050"

Iridiums come pre-gapped...

The AC Delco iridiums designed for the LS1 come gapped as .040. Good or too narrow for mostly stock?

I swear you posted .054" in the last thread that asked this question. Now I have to pull all my plugs and set the gap down by .002".
