AIR and EGR
So...since I bought my car I'm still buttoning up some stuff that was done half a$$ed from the previous and only owner...it appears that the AIR system that sits right in front of the driver side tire has been partially removed. Some of the hoses in the engine bay aren't connected to anything and they are just there not doing anything...my car has had a tune and EGR and AIR has been tuned out so I know I'm good to go with the removal of both...my question with the AIR system is do I need to plug anything once I get all the hoses out of the engine bay or can I just rip it out? Like I said...its not doing anything right now anyway and half the hoses aren't connected to anything...Just want to be sure I dont cause a vacuum leak in the process by not plugging something that I dont know about.

If you still have the LS1 intake and have cap the the port then you're free to pull the whole system. You can even sell it if you want. I sold mine a few months ago to someone that needed it for their state emissions.

Here's a thread Jeff made on how to remove it all. Pretty much covers it all.

You'll want to cap off the vacuum supply line that connects to the solenoid.

a simple vacuum cap should be fine. Parts stores sell a pack of them for around $3
