    Question 92mm v. 90mm Fast Intake

I just called fast and they told me that I have a 90mm intake because it has 5 bolts holding the TB on instead of the 3 on the 78mm. I want to know if I should sell the 90mm and get a 92mm if they provide any real advantages.

No, the 2mm wider mouth is not going to net you any more power. The internals on the intake are exactly the same to my understanding.

I noticed you changed ur avatar and I guess that you recommend staying with the 90mm intake. Then I want to know whether or not which TB could I use?

I would stay away from the 90mm FAST. Heard osme people running into issues with them sticking. I think they straightened it all out with the 92mm FAST though. They are way expensive though.

I went with a PTM. Great TB. Alot of people like the Nich Williams TB also. Cant go wrong with either piece.

    Yes, stay with your 90mm.

Thanks for the help I just finish college and am now going to start and finish my car and put on all those parts I have been storing.

By the way would you happen to know where I could get one of those 90mm TB for a decent price, I look at Summit Racing and Ebay mostly.

I also need to find a place where I can buy some missing parts for a Vortech Supercharger Kit that I purchased from a the guy I got the intake from.

Look around on here, I have seen a few for sale lately. Also look on that "other" LS1 website, they have lots of stuff for sale too. Check out some of the sponsors here for a decent deal on a TB.
