92mm intake and tb
does anoyone know the power gains of a 92mm intake and 92mm throttle body over my current ls6 intake? is it worth the $1,100??? trying to find ways for some power gains without going into the motor. as of right now i only have SLP cold air intake and 1 3/4'' kooks headers with ypipe and exhaust on the car.

With stock cam and heads, your current ls6 is doing fine. The FAST will only help your current situation in the upper RPMS. IMO your money is better spent on other things.

What is your full modification list as of now?
Suspension?
IMO, when you cant afford any major power adding mod's, the best thing to do is add suspension to handle the future.
Are trying to not add a cam? Auto or M6?Last edited by Hi-Po; 01-08-2010 at 08:09 PM.

If you just want to do bolt on's then i would invest in a tunner, headers, exhaust, cold air system I dont really like undrive pullies for cars that are daily drivers they tend to discharge at ideal and if you spend time in traffice your battery could become week.lsi preformance has a lot of ideas for you. Your stock throtal body with stock cam is probly best bigger throtal bodys are more for mid to upper RPM.

SLP CAI
Kooks 1 3/4'' headers ORY
SLP exhaust with magnaflow bullet muffler to replace the resonator
UMI 2 pt. SFC
UMI Strut tower brace
UMI torque arm DSL Mount
i can afford the mods, but i would rather not go into the motor, so anything small i can do to get those few extra hp

I suggest you go with the best you can right off the bat, because horse power is addicting , no matter what, you will never stop upgrading something. start with top of the line so later down the road you not buying another intake and trying to sell the LS6 for half of what you just bought it for a year ago.

You want to feel a difference take out the a/c system

^^^ why remove the a/c system, less weight, less accessory drive both, talking about intakes here
