80mm BBK throttlebody, wat do i need to do?

Hey fellow ls1'ers, theres a guy selling a 80mm BBK throttlebody for really cheap 125$. i was thinking about buying it and installing it today but i had a couple questions, is it a part i can just bolt on and go or do i need to tune the car for it or something. And will i even notice a difference with it? I was thinking all i need to do is swap the sensors over; IAT, TPS, i just wanted to make sure there arent any surprises. any tips or advice is welcomed.......

You should just be able to bolt it on and swap the sensors over. You don't need a tune for it but if you haven't had a tune yet and you have done LTs and some other stuff it wouldn't be a bad idea. As far as gains go I don't think 80mm will give you much over the stock one, maybe a few hp, but if you had it ported you could get more. I personally would just port the stock tb or buy a 90mm tb.

Power difference will not be noticable. Throttle response will improve. Idle quality will suffer. The BBK throttle body is crap, buy a ported stocker instead.
