6.0 truck ls1 intake

just wondering if you can put a ls1 /ls6 intake on a 6.0 truck motor it looks like it would be in the way of the idaler pully any help would be great

a mag did an intake test. the 6.0L intake stayed really close to the LS6. and i mean close. the LS6 had a slight edge in the 5500-up range. the 6.0L had the edge in the under 5500 range. so, IMO no real advantage switching.

the reason i ask is that the truck intake will not let me close the hood on my s10 and i dont want to put a cowl on it but i have done some research and i know that i can do it if ank has any input i will take it thanks

It will bolt on ... but the water pump outlet (return) will interfere with the throttle body. You will need to use F-Body accessories to use the LS1 (or better yet, LS6) intake.
