408 Question, Victor jr. manifold & intake elbow throttle body...

Question... I have a 408 with Patriot Performance stage 3 heads, Texas Speed Texas Giant camshaft, dynoed tuned today at 536.6 and 483.4 trq and wanting to know a intake question. I talked with the my Dyno tuner and he told me I should look into a higher flowing intake system like a Victor Jr. manifold and Intake elbow throttle body and or a sheetmetal intake system form Beck. My question to you is what horsepower should i have in order to run these higher flowing intake systems or does it matter. I don't want to pull in to much air.. I currently had a LS6 on it and then a Fast 90 and he believes i can benefit more from higher flowing intake system???

If you are staying NA then I would just stick with the FAST 90, 536 rwhp is pretty impressive. if going with some spray then I would think about a Metal intake.

Do you think the sheetmetal intake when not spraying Nitrious would be too much air for driving if I wanted to daily drive it a few days a month?

Not really since everything is tunable. I would be more worried about heat soke with the metal intake but then agian if you rarely drive it you probably wouldnt be too worried about that anyway. How much spray can you put throught that throttle body kit? I am still leaning towards staying with the FAST 90, you should pm Mr. Luos, he has a similar stroker motor that he too got through TSP I am pretty sure he is running a FAST 90. Ask him if he ever thought about running a sheet metal intake for more air.

Yea i have been talking to MR.Lous about it for months now.. he likes the fast 90, I am just interested in a new idea, and trying to see what people know about these intakes due to my lack of knowledge on them... Just have been curouis, I have talked with Mr. Lous's buddy Bobby and he thought maybe around 500 would be a good start for the sheet metal but once agin said to ask the forum's...
