remote programming
i have a 1997 vette and i broke the keyless entry remote. they tell me a remote cost $130 and then they are going to charge me $45 to program it. i was wondering if anyone knew how to program the remotes and if so could you send me directions?
also i dont have a owner's manual and i was wondering how do you reset the oil percentage back to 100% after an oil change on the dash?
any answers would be very helpful
thanks

Free online Corvette owner manuals are available at fredbeansgmparts.com on the home page. You can print sections,or the entire manual for your specific year.
You should be able to find your key fob programming instructions in the 1997 Corvette owner manual.I hope this helps.

Thats great,I'm glad I could help.
eBay is also a good source for remote entry key fobs.I bought a couple of good spares for a fraction of the GM parts counter price, and programmed them myself.
