Has any one done or heard of doing a body change on a 99 corvette to look like the 2005 corvette? possible?

Duraflex sell a ten piece body kit. However.You can get a set of fix LeMan headlights. This will get you pretty close for the exception of the door handles and rear quarters.

i've seen them, but never have been impressed. save your money and go for a c6 when you can afford it.

That will be like 10 years! I've looked around and some of the body kits offered don't look too bad, a chin spoiler type thing and a spoiler would make me happy. I'm looking around at Trans AM's and some higher mileage corvettes in my price range so we'll see what I end up with

my limit on a newer vehicle is 12k so its a toss up between a vette or a bird just waiting for winter to break before I get on a serious hunt for something. a lot of my capital is tied up in a business we're launching in July but once I start seeing a return on that, C6 here i come

Body kits can be expensive for a good one and a good paint job, and I don't think they look that good. I agree with the fixed headlights though, they are nice.

I agree...except for the C5 looking better than a C6. Especially a Z06, nothing tops the wide body C6.
Remember that, according to GM themselves, they took all of the complaints from the C5 owners, and addressed [fixed] them with the C6.

C6 is a incredible car , But , I loved my C5's and would not hesitate to go back to one. 04 C5Z06 in black with mod red interior , would be my first choice.
