black- 2001 corvette
putting BBK headers on my car and looking for a good exhuast, opinions please .....
I am sure this is a normally talked about subject, but I am new to the forum, so what the hell. I am getting my first vette this week. It is a black 2001. Last owner gave me some brand new in the box BBK shorty headers to put on it, so I now want to do the headers and exhaust at the same time. Lookin at corsa and borla, or anything else you may recommend. Let me know what you think. I had flowmasters on my 84z28, but that is not the sound I am looking for on my vette. Thanks in advance. I really like my Magnaflow. It's a bit bassy down low, drones a tad but it's quiet at idle. It really wakes up at wide open throttle.

They have a few sound clips on on their site. It's a bit louder in person than on the clips. I also have my cats...um...modified so it made it a little louder.-98 GTP Coupe. Silvermist and stock.

The only problem is that they don't have much 'vette stuff yet. The exhaust setup is waaay different than a fbody.

Corsa will give you the best sound(least drone), but the Borla will give you the deepest sound.

I've heard the Borla and Corsa side by side in person at Carlisle.
My vote goes to the Borla, it was a much deeper sound, and it was also slightly louder. It just had a much better overall sound, with in idle and under throttle.

Here's a vote for corsa. Quiet at cruise, no drone, but step on the pedal and they scream.
