My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
modding a vette
from what i understand, modding on a vette costs about 30% more than it does for an f-body. True or false?
What improvements are needed to make a vette stomp a modded fbody?
Also, since vettes allready have true duals, is modding the exhasut worth it? or is it free flowing enough?
From the factory, are they tuned up or tuned down? I get the feeling they are tuned down to accomedate older generation buyers not looking for thrills, just a cool car. True or False?
Thanks guys...

Get a mid america catalog. You will go nuts. There is stuff in there for a Vette you would never even think of. It is more expensive, but it is a more named car than a firebire/camaro/gto etc. I left my Vette completely stock as I plan to do on my new one. They are very quiet (I like stock cars). The car is definately not tuned down by much. I had my TA and Vette at the same time and they get up there about the same. Throw a curve in there and the f-bod is toast. I think that the TA has a much more "muscle feel" because of its exhaust tone with the raw torque but the Vette accelerates, handles and feels like a real sports car. Once you have a Vette, you will never want anything else but another one.

My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
i just tested an 01 m6 vette...very VERY nice. so smooth, way better than the a4 i drove.
is it possible to have the fog lights on, but not have the headlights flip up??? I thought that was kinda ghey. I liked rolling in the ws.6 with the fogs on and no headlights up

thanks cujo. I didn't know my t/a did that? When i bought it they never flipped up, is that a computer thing or is there a toggle switch somewhere on the vette?

Hmm...On the right hand side of the car there are 2 buttons, one for fogs and one for the trunk (i think). When the fogs are engaged, there should be a yellow light on the rubber button that will light up to let you know that your fogs are on. If that is on and by doing the single "turn" as frosty said, it should work.
