LS7 Power with Cam and Full Exhaust
I was wondering if anybody has put a cam, headers, and full exhaust on a new Z06 Corvette? What kind of power will they put down with these basic LS1 type mods?
Heads 'n Cammed, Moser 12, 3.73's, Weight Reduction, 13" Brembo Kit
BMR track suspension, full exhaust, the works...
412whp/394wtq 1/4 mile slip coming soon!

623 rwhp!!! Gotdamn, I said GOTDAMN!!!!
That is all the power I would ever need in my Z. I need to take out a home equity loan and purchase one of those badboys. Maybe in a few years you can get one under 10 grand?

There was a guy with a new Z06 that ran the dyno out of mph. In 4th gear at 160 at 5000k it was already at 460 something rwhp. Hell the car would have pulled to almost 7000k. They say a stock Z06 will dyno about 480 or so to the ground. Chevy hit the nail on the head with the LS7.

Damn that is badass. Too bad it is an ugly ass car with those old school stripes. I would like to see some track numbers.

If I had 80000 miles on the motor, and had to tear into it, then I prolly would port the heads a little while they were off the car. But, on a brand new LS7, no way would I want to pull anything off except for what is needed for a cam swap.
I wonder if you can put an even bigger stroke crank in that thing. What do you think would be the stock block LS7 cube limit? Can anyone say, 496 cubes?Last edited by Roastem; 04-28-2006 at 11:29 AM.

Did anyone read the 'Stang boys thread about it? One said, "Since the engine was crafted by God, it has a tendency to float off the ground instead of be on it...it's pulling the car up with it," which is true
as a side note, who really gives a rat's ass about the stripes? looking at that cars stripes instead of the LS7 is like talking to pamela anderson and looking at her eyes, unmanly
