Lowering a c5...?
Alright the kit to lower a c5 is very cheap, and in my opinion would get rid of that ugly gap between the wheels and fender. I just wanted to get some 2nd opinions hopefully by people who have done it and like it, hate it... what ever.. Now I know it would purely be for looks and very little handling advantages but the disadvantages seem steep. Like the ability after words to get the car on a lift or into driveways etc etc... any way just let me know what you all think about this idea thanks.

Are you lowering it on stock bolts? If you are you should have no problems. My buddy did this on his C5 and now on his C6. It does look better by getting rid of some of the fender gap. He likes it and says the only thing is his car hits in te front when going into his driveway.

millenium yellow- 2000 corvette
I lowered my back on stock bolts.I was amazed how much the car dropped. Now the car looks more equal in height all around.I need to go get an alignment done yet.But so far no problems after 2 months.

On the back I jacked up the car in the middle.Let the car sit on jack stands. Then loosendthe bolts leaving 2 threads showing.I also left the bolt retaining clips on.I haven't attempted the front.I like the car the way it is now.

Jet Stream Blue- 2009 Lingenfelter ZR1
I've got one of those kits off Ebay, for only $25 shipped. I never installed it because of my supercharger install. Let me know, you could have it for $23 shipped to your door.
