HELP!!!! A/C stuck on defrost
I have a '99 targa coupe and just recently my A/C will not change from defrost to anything else, it just blows out of the top vents even though the display readout says that it should be blowing on my face or my feet?!?!?! I dont know if there is some kind of vacuum line or a motor that controls the setting or what not, but I would love to get this fixed ASAP!!! Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Vaccuum Line Behind Intake
Look behind the intake manifold for a vaccuum line. I recently bought my 97' and the previous owner had a cam and ZO6 heads and intake installed. When I got the car the blend door was stuck on defrost and wouldn't switch. I over rev'd the engine last week and had to change out a collapsed lifter which involved a tear down to the pistons. I noticed they forgot to hook a vaccuum line at the back of the intake when I removed it. After I put things back together and hooked the line up, everthing works fine now. It may be difficult to get on or find without taking the intake off. Hope this helps.

if it is a little 3-4 inch hose that goes from MAF to a valve and runs along the fuel lines then I just replaced that cause it had a hole in it and it only settled the idle, but did nothing for the a/c
