Yes shave or cut so they look nice and professional. I know that some of the custom cover designers use fill to make custom designed covers and I hear it's pretty time consuming and they are elaborate and expensive but I'd like to get some covers say off ebay for about $80 and do a nice cut or shave on them to expose the coil packs.

Yours are full vette covers on an SS which is also cool.
No I mean how is the best way to cut or shave the covers to expose the coil packs. Being expensive as they are I would like to do it right the first time and not ruin them.

Are you handy with the dremel, then get to work bud. It's not that hard.

Just use a masking tape as a guideline where you want to cut and take your time with a dremel don't rush. That's what i would do.

Yes I'm handy with the dremel as well as various saws but experience has shown me that plastic does odd things when cutting. Like you need to do it awfully slow so as to not burn or bubble the plastic. No matter what I seem to do this and was wondering if the forum people know of a better way. Thanks!
