fuel guage problem! need help!!

alright driving normal everything fine then fuel guage drops to 0 check guages light comes on low fuel warning blah blah wondering if any one has had the same problem and possibly know the fix? thanks

Just about every C5 has had that problem and if they dont have that problem they will soon. Your sending units in the gas tank are clogged up. Dont bother trying to replace them cause it will cost you several thousand dollars to do that and it will just happen again. Best thing to do is start filling up at Chevron cause they have Techron in their gas or go buy a bottle of Techron and put it in your gas everytime you fill up. That will clean up your sending units. I have been filling up at Chevron ever since I had this problem, which was about four years ago, and it fixed it.

ur fuel guage defaults to zero if it senses a problem. there is a lot of things that can cause this problem. if the new gas doesnt fix it, then i would get it checked.

Yes, the sending units will get clogged and just need to be cleaned. You can either use Techron or Sea Foam.
