Chris maybe someone can help out here more then I can. I think the only changes are, oil pan, camshaft, exhaust.

Exhaust is a big part of it, and tune!

I believe the engine is the same with the exception of the oil pan. The intake and exhaust are different and more efficient on the Vette plus the weight difference give the Vette the advantage.

How's that meth system working for you?

It works very well but how well I don't know because I had ECS install their blower cam and the meth at the exact same time but can say the combination of the two made a big difference. I havn't been having any problems or issues with the meth system. It is set up to automatticaly begin spraying as soon as the boost hits three pounds.

Is it meant to just cool down your temps?

As I understand it...Meth cools down the temps and increases the octane level which prevents detonation <a major safety factor>...it also allows the timing to be increased <for more power> Getting back to the origional posters thread the LS1 engine is one heck of a great motor in what ever car it is in....It is a lot better platform than the engines the auto makers produced in the 60/70's when I was a kid.
